At Starfish Animal Rescue, we believe every animal deserves a chance at a safe, loving home. Your support through Sip & Support Starfish Animal Rescue helps us say yes to dogs and cats who have nowhere else to turn.

The mission of Starfish Animal Rescue is to rescue animals from high kill shelters, provide transportation of these animals to secure, non-kill establishments, to promote and facilitate responsible pet ownership, and to intervene in cases of animal cruelty. We commit to eliminating euthanasia of companion animals in North America one shelter at a time.

Free public parking is available throughout Batavia. Expect it to be busier than usual earlier in the day because of the farmers market, which ends at noon.

We're getting closer to Sip & Support Starfish Animal Rescue at Geneva Winery, and we want to make your day as easy and enjoyable as possible.

🚗 Parking

Free public parking is available throughout Batavia. Expect it to be busier than usual earlier in the day because of the farmers market, which ends at noon. View the public parking map.

🎟️ Do I need to bring my ticket?

No! Geneva Winery will have a list of everyone who purchased tickets in advance — just give your name at check-in. Please have a valid ID available if required by law for alcohol service.

⏰ Do I have to stay from 11–4?

Not at all — come for the whole afternoon or stay as long as you'd like. You do not need to be present to win door prizes or silent auction items. Silent auction winners who aren't present can arrange pickup in Geneva on September 19.

🍷 When do I get my prepaid wine bottles?

If you preordered one of our exclusive Starfish wine bottles, visit our wine volunteer during the event to pick up your bottle(s).

🍾 Can I buy wine at the event?

Absolutely! Our exclusive Starfish bottles will be available for purchase while supplies last, so preorder today. You can also purchase other wines from Geneva Winery during the event, and 20% of those purchases will be donated to Starfish Animal Rescue.

🎟️ Can I buy a ticket at the door?

Yes! Tickets will be available the day of the event, but we encourage you to purchase in advance if possible — day-of purchases may take a little longer to process.

🐾 Is this a family-friendly event?

Yes! While wine is available for adults, all ages are welcome to come enjoy the adoptable dogs and activities, including a coloring contest.

🐾 What should I bring?

We recommend a valid ID and a little extra cash or card if you'd like to participate in raffles, auctions, or wine purchases.

🐾 Is the event indoors or outdoors?

The event will be held in a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces at Geneva Winery, so plan accordingly for weather.

🐾 What if it rains?

The event will go on rain or shine!

🐾 Is there seating available?

Yes, but seating is limited and shared, so we encourage guests to mingle and enjoy the winery atmosphere.

🐾 How do I support if I can't attend?

You can still help by donating directly to Starfish Animal Rescue or sharing the event with friends and family.
